Professional Experience

Michael spent 10 years trading Bond and Equity Index Futures as a Proprietary Trader, where performance, focus, and decision quality had direct commercial consequences.

Since 2017, he has also mentored and developed aspiring traders into established professionals, including designing and implementing the trainee program for Star Beta Australia in Sydney and managing experienced traders through different life and performance phases.

​

Through that work, he repeatedly saw the same pattern: as life gets more complex, the wrong personal-life tradeoffs quietly start draining focus, momentum, and earning power.

That is the foundation of Only Tradeoffs.

Michael now works in Performance Advisory, helping performance orientated men identify and correct the hidden leaks in time, attention, routines, and obligations that interfere with commercial performance.

His background in teaching, trading, and trader development gives him a practical, commercially grounded lens on how life structure affects edge, opportunity capture, and income through time.​​
